February 2020Many less educated and gullible people still believe in the fancy lies being told by Frank JV Bainimarama! This is why they still live in poverty and koco cheap freebies that you and their children will be paying off long after Bainimarama has departed this world!!
Each and every child born in Fiji today under the Bainimarama dictatorship already owes over $6,000 each!! This is well before your baby has even learnt to crawl or speak! Frank created this debt for your children by stealing from you the people! Using Fiji’s resources to “koco” 100’s of millions of dollars that he and Sayed-Khaiyum looted for themselves and their corrupt family and friends! Fiji's auditor general reported on the $400 million they looted! The millions in cash donations for victims of TC Winston was also looted with victims still waiting for assistance three years later! Fiji now owes $6 billion which is beyond Fiji’s ability to repay so the government is now broke! This is why Bainimarama has been running around the world pretending to champion climate change and begging for funds, when he does not even practice it back home in Fiji!! The FREE climate change funds is what Frank is after! He does not care about climate change! He doesn't even understand GDP or VAT! The Leader of the National Federation Party Prof. Biman Prasad [Fiji Times Saturday 8th February 2020] says that the Bainimarama government only had an economic policy as long as it could spend money and give freebies before election. That is Fiji First economics, the Bainimarama Boom and all of this economics of illusion worked to fool the people for 10 years. But now the cash pipeline has dried up with Fiji now owing over $6 billion dollars! Frank Bainimarama doesn’t care if your new born baby owes $6K, so long as he continues to get his share of the loot that is paid to him in the form of $3,000 per day travel allowances plus the already taxpayer funded travel expenses, accommodation, meals, booze and credit card spending money. This is on top of his already high $300,000 base salary and living expenses paid beyond Frank’s actual capabilities and intellect. But don’t forget the millions in bribes and corruption that Frank earns while you the people live of the scraps!!! On 1-Jul-2015 after winning the fiji first Rigged Elections in 2014 the corrupt Bainimarama dictatorship increased the minimum wage from $2.00 to $2.32 per hour. That’s a whopping increase of 32 cents for the majority of the people living in poverty! Meanwhile, Bainimarama paid himself a 300% increase and his corrupt FijiFirst MPs received over 100% increase in salaries and allowances! In July 2017 Bainimarama's corrupt FijiFirst government raised the national minimum wage by 36 cents an hour. The overpaid Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Jone Usamate said the minimum wage of $2.32 will rise to $2.68. Wow!! But wait, there’s more!! Increases have also been announced for your Water, Power, Rates and food that all add to Fiji's highest cost of living. This makes your 36cent an hour pay increase a joke! Oh wait! Idiots still excitedly claim that there has been a lot of development than ever before! So what?! Its the reason you and your children each owe over $6,000!! But have those developments:
The reality is that those developments have made Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum and their corrupt family and friends rich! You only have to look at the roads covered in potholes to see and hopefully realise that of the hundreds of millions spent only a portion of it was actually used on the roads – hence the poor quality, at a high price. This can also be said for many other government projects! So while you struggle on $2.68 an hour know that your kaisi bakola PM Bainimarama is laughing all the way to the bank with his millions in stolen funds stored in multiple offshore accounts! Frank Bainimarama and his corrupt family and friends are definitely more equal than the rest of us! No screening done at Nadi International Airport and NO screening was done when the tourist ship arrived in Suva! Yet Fiji's least educated and most corrupt PM and dictator Frank JV Bainimarama says there is screening done! Sa no use the fancy three-piece suit!
Fiji's least educated PM ever, Frank JV Bainimarama, who failed form 4 [year 10] maths, doesn't understand VAT or GDP and destroyed both the fishing and sugar industries, accused the Opposition of “spreading lies that Government is running low on cash".
But these are not lies replied the leader of the Opposition Rabuka, it is public knowledge that the Bainimarama Government is having a cash flow problem. Here are some indicators:
Today the people of Fiji are reeling from the high cost of living and high unemployment, says Rabuka, our economy is in crisis. The FFP Bainimarama Government have been running the show for more than 13 years, therefore the crisis falls squarely on their shoulders. It is time the government admit its failures and take full responsibility for the poor management of the economy rather than blaming others particularly previous governments. The Bainimarama Government's poor management of the economy due to bad governance practices, and inconsistent and unrealistic policies have not created the necessary confidence in investors (both local and foreign) to invest in the economy. Unfortunately the Opposition leaders and their elected members stop at fancy speeches and fancy dress, putting their self-preservation before the needs of their voters and the nation! Fiji's voters will need to re register for new voter IDs. The Supervisor of Elections [SOE] Mohammed Saneem says the Fiji Elections Office [FEO] is no longer accepting the use of married names on voter identification cards.
The reason, Mr Saneem explained that some who have registered using their married names encounter problems later on at financial institutions when the name on the birth certificate does not match the name on the voter ID. FEO states that it requires any application for new voter registration to be accompanied by the person’s Birth Certificate and another ID confirming the person. The new cost for a copy of a birth certificate is $15. The registered number of voters as of Nov 2018 is 637,527. That's a lot of extra revenue for the broke Fiji government. SODELPA Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka raised concerns via facebook on why birth certificates are needed for voter registration and why women cannot use their married names. Saneem says the name of a person on the birth certificate (the Registered Name) is the only approved name that will be printed on the person’s Voter Card. Remember that Fiji has had two rigged elections using the current Voter card. An eminent lawyer has also asked the FEO to clarify the legal basis under Fiji's electoral laws that requires everyone to re-register and to do so under the name registered on their birth certificate. Saneem says this is in compliance with the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1975. Remember that Saneem’s contract as SOE expired at the end of 2018, yet he continues to act in the position. He did not meet the minimum qualification requirements of the position when it was advertised in 2013 so its clear he was not appointed on merit. It was nepotism! The Electoral Commission opted to re-advertise the position but the Attorney General, Saneem's uncle, overruled the Commission and got Saneem appointment to the job. Fiji has had two rigged elections under Saneem in favour of his corrupt uncle Sayed-Khaiyum and his dumb bakola puppet Frank JV Bainimarama. Chairperson of the South Pacific Stock Exchange Dr. Nur Bano Ali, aunt of Fiji’s corrupt and megalomaniac AG Sayed-Khaiyum, defended former Fijian Holdings Ltd [FHL] CEO Nouzab Fareed after a recording revealed Fareed asking if he could kiss a female staff member and then sniffed her hair.
Dr Nur Ali stated that sniffing of a female’s hair was a sign of respect and that she often allowed this practice at her board meetings. Fiji Independent [NOT] Legal Commission Against Corruption FICAC has cleared the Corrupt and Lying AG Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum for awarding his aunt Nur Bano Ali and her accounting firm Aliz Pacific a $500,000 contract without following proper tender procedures.
The Minister responsible for FICAC - the same Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum had called a press conference in 2015 and cleared himself of any corruption related activities. Khaiyum's aunt Nur Bano took the Auditor General to court and lost. Both the Auditor General and the Fiji High Court, relying on strong evidence, concluded that the taxpayer funded contract for the restructure of Rewa Dairy was issued without a public tender. The court awarded court costs of $5000 against Nur Bano. The Court of Appeal agreed. A complaint was then filed with FICAC in 2020 by Opposition Leader Sitiveni Rabuka against the illegal issuing of the contract in 2010 when Khaiyum was Minister for Commerce and Trade. Despite the strong evidence and the High Court ruling FICAC's corrupt acting deputy Commissioner Ashmi Aslam claimed the complaint warrants no further action or proceedings by the Commission. Yeah right! Labour Leader Mahendra Chaudhry also called into question FICAC's independence following its decision not to investigate AG Khaiyum and his aunt. Chaudhry also called Aslam's labelling of the Auditor General's report ''unreliable'' as absolute trash. "As far as the people are concerned" claimed,'' said Mr Chaudhry, "the case was put to rest by the Court of Appeal...FLP had called for a judicial inquiry after the Appeal Court decision because some bigwigs in government are parties to the case". FICAC's history from the time of its creation speaks for itself" continued Mr Chaudhry, "It is there to protect the FijiFirst government come what may'' This is another sad example of the corruption and lies by Fiji's dictatorship, which shows there is no Rule of Law in Fiji under Frank Bainimarama. Fiji Times reported 12 Jan 2020 that NFP Party leader Professor Biman Prasad had criticised Agriculture Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy for using “deceptive tactics” to buy goats at cheaper prices and cause losses to farmers.
Dr Reddy had spoken on the issue at a public consultation in Rakiraki, saying that he had bought a 10kg goat that was worth $250 for $150 in Labasa and that he used his wife’s car to try and buy a goat, saying “if he [farmer] saw I was the minister, he would put up the price”. Prof Prasad said he was embarrassed with these revelations and that the minister of Agriculture, Waterways and Environment Dr Reddy has demonstrated to the people of Fiji his deceptive skills. The World Health Organization declared that the new coronavirus outbreak was a global health emergency, acknowledging that the disease represents a risk outside of China.
The declaration — officially called a Public Health Emergency of International Concern — serves notice to all United Nations member states that the world’s top health advisory body rates the situation as serious. The decision came as cases have begun to appear in people who had not travelled to China during the outbreak. According to the New York Times countries struggle to control its spread so the time to prevent more epidemics is now, and countries are trying to seize the moment to protect themselves against the coronavirus outbreak. More than 250 people have died so far and nearly 12,000 cases are confirmed. America set its health warning to level 4, its highest, and Australia will deny entry to travellers from mainland China unless they’re Australian citizens, amid growing fear surrounding the deadly coronavirus. Qantas announced it will suspend its two direct services to mainland China due to travel restrictions imposed by other countries. But in Fiji its open borders, where Fiji's least educated and illegal PM Frank Voreqe Bainimarama said that it was impossible to contain a virus across international borders, and a closed border could make it worse! WHO says open borders allow them to track the virus and that if official paths are not opened, people will find unofficial paths. This implies that open borders stops people from entering countries unofficially..... Bainimarama's assurances, however, that the people of Fiji have nothing to worry about means very little to concerned citizens, especially when those assurances come from an illegal PM with a 13-year record of corruption and lying! Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete says Fiji’s health system is not weak [oh really!] “So we understand” says Waqainabete, “that and if our health system was weak we would have suffered really badly with the measles outbreak. We understand that and we continue to strengthen the health system that we have and also making sure that we have adequate resources to deal with that.” But the measles is not a good indicator because they weren’t organised as requirements kept changing. There were 28 recorded cases while thousands missed out on vaccine shots because there were not sufficient funds and resources. Fiji had to rely on donated vaccines, meanwhile, Bainimarama was gallivanting overseas earning his $3k per day allowance! One only has to look at the poor state of public hospitals around the country where patients need to take their own bed sheets, pillows, food, toilet paper, utensils and medicines, to know that the Fiji health system and services are not in a strong state. Many still complain that the governments Free medicine is not available when needed. This is the reality under the corrupt and incompetent FFP government! Six travellers rejected by Samoa were welcomed into Fiji and quarantined approximately 3.8km from Nadi International Airport at the Melanesian Hotel. The hotel includes free Wi-Fi, TVs, and balconies. There's also a simple, wood-paneled restaurant, a bar and a lagoon-style pool with a waterslide and access to hotel workers and other guests. Fiji's not so Independent Commission Against Corruption [FICAC] gave Opposition leader Rabuka just 24 hours to return from Vanua Levu to respond to allegations made against him. But does nothing when allegations are lodged against Fiji's corrupt and megalomaniac AG and incompetent minister for everything Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Notice the double standards!! The acting Deputy Commissioner of FICAC Reshmi Aslam, an associate of Sayed-Khaiyum, should already have interviewed Sayed-Khaiyum because it has been more than 10 days since the allegations were filed. This non-action by FICAC supports claims by many that the Equal Citizenry, transparency and fairness policies that Bainimarama has been proclaiming are mere fancy and empty words, especially when it comes to himself and his corrupt FFP ministers! Fiji Times reported, 18 January 2020, that Rabuka had lodged a complaint with FICAC against Govt. The complaint centres around Sayed-Khaiyum illegally awarding the Rewa Dairy Restructure Consultancy to Aliz Pacific, which is owned by Sayed-Khaiyum's aunt Nur Bano Ali. This $500,000 consultancy was awarded without calling for 3 tenders as is required by law. Notice Sayed-Khaiyum's nepotism in awarding the consultancy to his aunt. So its hypocritical of Reshmi Aslam to talk about zero tolerance on corruption when he clearly hasn't done anything about Rabuka's allegations against Sayed-Khaiyum. Aslam also talks about how vital it is for government departments to undergo Corruption Assessment training but given FICAC's track record the people of Fiji can rest assured that such training is only meant to target anyone who opposes or disagrees with the corrupt and lying Bainimarama dictatorship. You will also be FICAC'ed if the childish Sayed Khaiyum or Frank Bainimarama don't like you! There is clearly no equal citizenry in Fiji where there are two sets of rules; one where the rules do not apply to the corrupt and lying dictatorship and all their corrupt family and friends and the other where the rules apply to everyone else! A petition by Ben.P was started in response to FICAC's non-action. The petition asks FICAC to charge Sayed-Khaiyum and his aunty Nur Bano ALi for the illegal Rewa Dairy Restructure Consultancy by Aliz Pacific. Please click HERE to sign the petition. |
