June 2022Fiji Times [20 June 2022] reported that Sayed-Khaiyum has accused the Opposition MPs of wanting power. Wow! This is the same as the blackest kettle calling other pots black!
Every person with half a brain knows that Khaiyum is a bull-shitting expert, a hypocrite who easily lies with a straight face. Meanwhile, his puppet media run by his brother at FBC and the stooges at Fiji Sun report it all like it was gospel, the truth, when it is not even close! Fiji, in its entire history, has never had one Minister [Sayed-Khaiyum] hold so many portfolios, including that of the puppet and incompetent "Prime Minister" Frank JV Bainimarama. Even the puppet FFP Ministers are too afraid to fart without Khaiyum's permission. This is also the first time in Fiji's history that one megalomaniac and incompetent minister Aiyaz Khaiyum, a failed lawyer, holds so much power and rules over Parliament, the civil servants, the judiciary, and the incompetent and corrupt lamu sona police and military. While giving a speech at the Nadi Women's Forum, Khaiyum praised women for thinking about their children and their future, while men sang and drank grog. He did not mention anything about the massive public debt that their children will have to repay, because of his and his puppet Frank Bainimarama's greedy, corrupt and koco-style attitude for looting funds. The indigenous Fijian voters will need to think about the reality of Khaiyum's Sunset Clause that has almost set on Fiji, with a non-indigenous dictator who decided that the indigenous Fijian language, for the majority of people of Fiji, must not be spoken in Fiji's Parliament. This meant that indigenous Fijian leaders who are only comfortable speaking in their own language cannot represent their people in parliament. IF this same thing was done in India, there would be mass protests, riots and burnings, especially if the indigenous languages were banned from India's parliaments. There would be a total shutdown of workplaces, offices, shops, the courts, civil disobedience, including the closure of schools and places of business. Unfortunately, in Fiji, there is not such protest, nothing! Thanks to a weak opposition that stops at words, more focused on their self-preservation and keeping their well paid, taxpayer-funded, jobs. Meanwhile, the puppet PM Bainimarama speaks to his RFMF soldiers in their indigenous Fijian language, not English. He knows where the real power lies, so he appeases them for their support. This is why the FFP-Elf Saneem who is Supervisor of Elections has no problems with the RFMF soldiers being told by Bainimarama (aka Aiyaz Khaiyum) that they must only vote at the barracks (where they can be monitored). Fiji's biggest lamu sona Commander and PM Frank JV Bainimarama knows that it is Khaiyum who supplies him with a never-ending flow of cash and, in addition, it is Khaiyum who is keeping Bainimarama out of Naboro [for now] for the murders of the 5 CRW soldiers in 2000. The Fijian voters, police and RFMF included, must decide at the next elections if Khaiyum's Sunset Clause will set on Fiji. They will also have to deal with the small group of unethical RFMF officers and soldiers who do Bainimarama's bidding, when he loses the next elections. An extract taken from Mick Beddoes' facebook post [8 June 2022].
REMINDER TO ALL OUR INDIGENOUS FIRST CITIZENS ABOUT WHY THE GOVERNMENT DID NOT AND STILL HAS NOT RATIFIED the UN Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People [UNDRIP] The suggestions by the PM and his Geneva Representative former Judge Nazhat Shameem, that because our Indigenous first citizens were the majority community and owned 91% of all the land [The PM was wrong it is 89.5% according to the TLTB] UNDRIP was not relevant to Fiji. March 2015: Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has told the United Nations Human Rights Council that the UN Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People does not readily apply to Fiji. In his address in Geneva, Bainimarama says the Declaration does not affect Fiji in the way that it does nations whose indigenous citizens have been and continue to be exploited, marginalized, and dispossessed. He says this makes the Fijian indigenous experience rare, if not unique. Bainimarama adds the recognition of the unique culture of the indigenous people and their ownership of land is protected under the 2013 Constitution and is under no threat. [Note: This is a lie because native lands are being leased for 99 years without approval or knowledge from land owning units.] 12 March 2017: [As reported by Warden Narsey] Shameem said: “Racism in Fiji is often disguised by assertions that a community’s own cultural identity is being submerged under the blanket of national unity. These assertions are often made by relying on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People. “In Fiji, the indigenous people are in the majority. They constitute over 60% of the population and their rights to land, minerals, fishing and cultural succession are protected under the Fijian Constitution. [Note: Another lie] Neither of them refers to the ‘trashing and burning of the people’s 2012 Yash Ghai constitution and the imposition of their current 2013 constitution with its added immunity provisions to protect them and their co-conspirators for their 2006 act of treason. Had either of them bothered to do a little homework on our own Pacific history, they would have understood the truth and avoided the need to mislead and lie to the gullible UN and International community. But given that that their remarks were made in 2015 and 2017 they were both well aware of the fact that the 17 decrees they imposed against our Indigenous community from 2007 to 2013 were in force and active, which makes their comments all the more disingenuous and demonstrates the level of ‘impunity’ they employed when misleading the sadly gullible UN and International community. So for the sake of the ‘truth’ I put forward the facts I researched, writes Mick Beddoes. It's utterly shameful that Fiji's dictator Prime Minister Bainimarama, the puppet of Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, should boast that he has been the best Prime Minister and the best Government in the history of Fiji. Especially when he is the very same Bainimarama who could not explain VAT or GDP when interviewed!
Remember, that he was the Commander of RFMF who was behind the 2000 coup which removed the Chaudhry Government (under which the economy was growing by a record 9%) and he still refused to reinstate Chaudhry as Prime Minister! Remember that he was the one who removed Prime Minister Qarase's Government alleging corruption which he never proved, even fifteen years later. Remember his massive borrowing for the "Bainimarama Boom" which was a bust, it created the highest levels of Public Debt, poverty and unemployment ever in the history of Fiji. Remember also his destruction of the sugar industry, of which he alleged he was the "Minister". What a joke -- ministering destruction. But for sure, as a Prime Minister, he has paid himself the highest salaries and per diems in the history of Fiji. He is also the only Prime Minister who does not have a single original thought in his head, other than what is placed there in front of him [and more recently via an iPad] by his real Master, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum. The late Ratu Mara and the late Qarase must be weeping tears in the clouds that this total buffoon has been tolerated by the people of Fiji for fourteen years. When will this nightmare Animal Farm end?! The Fiji Labour Party's facebook page reported that its leader Mahendra Chaudhry had suggested that "Attorney General Sayed Khaiyum should go get a mental check-up".
“His electoral constraints and demands are getting beyond ridiculous. All these petty demands are a sign that the Fiji First is cracking up, afraid of losing power,” said Chaudhry. He was commenting on a statement by the AG at a media conference that even if a lovo night or roti parcel fund-raising was held by a political party, every person who bought a parcel should have his/her name recorded as a donor. How absurd can he get?, said Chaudhry, the AG talks of the need to clamp down on “dirty money. But he needs to clean up his own house first. Since 2014 the Fiji First has collected millions of dollars through highly questionable means from owners of corporate entities who donated $10,000 each in the name of their directors, their spouses and every single family member, even minors. He [AG] wants to tell us this isn’t dirty money. Labour wrote to the former chairman of the Electoral Commission calling for an inquiry into Fiji First’s so-called donations but of course, no inquiry was undertaken. Obviously, there is one law for Fiji First and another for the Opposition parties, continued Chaudhry, and that Sayed-Khaiyum has a habit of wanting to hold everyone accountable except himself. |
