Remember last year when Minister Mahendra Reddy bragged about how he tricked a poor farmer in Labasa into selling him a goat for just $150? Well, I finally found a picture to attach to the story courtesy of govt FB page. Copied from Facebook.
According to Communications Fiji Ltd, Fiji's least educated Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama who dropped out of high school after failing form4 [year 10] for the second time, says it is clear National Federation Party [NFP] President Pio Tikoduadua is the child for using insulting words.
Tikoduadua's 'insulting words' comment was obviously too difficult for Bainimarama to understand, and it clearly went over his head! Whooosh!! Tikoduadua had earlier said in a statement that Bainimarama needed to grow up and behave like a leader instead of a child. After all Bainimarama should understand that he is being paid by the Fiji taxpayers to lead the country and not throw temper tantrums like a baby. According to Tikoduadua, "every time Bainimarama is criticised he can only make personal attacks". This is exactly what an uneducated little child would do. Bainimarama is 66 years old!! Tikoduadua provided the following examples:
Bainimarama, in his typical response, validates Tikodudua's claim, when he says:
In 2019 Pacific Beat reported that the leader of a South Korean doomsday cult who detained hundreds of her followers in Fiji was sentenced to six years in prison, after she was convicted of child abuse, false imprisonment and assault.
The cult still operates in Fiji with support from the corrupt Bainimarama government and president George Konrote. Key points:
fbcnews.com.fj reports that one of the longest serving staff of the University of the South Pacific [USP] in Fiji, Professor Konai Helu Thaman who was born1946 (75 years old according to Wikipedia), strongly believes that ex-VCP Pal Ahluwalia, needs to go.
VCP Pal Ahluwalia and his wife were recently deported from Fiji. This was after previous failed attempts by Fiji's corrupt AG Sayed-Khaiyum to have VCP Pal removed for exposing the corruption and mismanagement at USP. VCP Pal remains employed by USP. According to VCP Pal, Professor Konai Helu Thaman had received nine post-retirement contracts without having met the performance threshold expected of a professor. So its interesting that FBCnews reports Thaman claiming that some staff have been put in positions for which they are not fully qualified. Is she looking in the mirror! Professor Thaman also said that it's time for the USP Council to move on from ex-VCP Ahluwalia, and start looking for someone from the Pacific who understands and has the region and people at heart. Understands what? That corruption and lying at USP is a given fact of life there and must be embraced and overlooked by the VCP! It seems that Professor Konai Helu Thaman has exceeded her use by date and clearly does not have the region and its people at heart. According to a USP press release, the Council of the University of the South Pacific at its Special Meeting held 16 Feb, was not able to consider Professor Pal Ahluwalia's contract as the Sub-Committee is yet to present its Recommendations to the Council. In the meantime the Council has extended the appointment of Dr Giulio Masasso Tu'ikolongahau Paunga as Acting Vice-Chancellor & President until further notice. Now Fiji's most corrupt, megalomaniac AG and failed lawyer AIYAZ SAYED-KHAIYUM says ‘There is absolutely a lack of good Governance at the USP.
Meanwhile, SAYED-KHAIYUM is the very person who falsified Fiji's GDP and Revenue figures to fool the World Bank, IMF and other financial institutions so that he could cover up his incompetence and mismanagement of the economy! Now Fiji is broke! Aman Ravindra-Singh's facebook post sums up the Fiji situation.
Regime Human Rights Violations - Illegal Deportation The only reason Professor Pal Ahluwalia and his wife were illegal declared prohibited immigrants and deported from Fiji by #KorruptKaiyum and #ViolentVoreqe was due to the Professor exposing massive financial abuse, financial mismanagement and corruption at the University of the South Pacific. Understand one fact - the moment one speaks the truth in Fiji, you will be targeted and the dictators #KorruptKaiyum and #ViolentVoreqe will go to great lengths to silence you. Your silence is the fuel to everything that is wrong in Fiji. Your silence is the oxygen for this Korrupt & Brutal government. Meanwhile, Fiji's Gnomic Human Rights Commissioner Ashwin Raj remains clueless!! Professor Pal Ahluwalia DEPORTED BY FIJI'S MOST CHiLDISH AND CORRUPT AG AIYAZ SAYED KHAIYUM! - Its Time to consider relocating USP out of Fiji!
By The University of the South Pacific Students' Association This message was sent by VCP this afternoon after landing at Brisbane Australia: While I sit here on the plane I would like to share my thoughts from last night At around 11-1130pm while sleeping, I heard a women calling out Pals name inside our locked backyard. The back gate had been broken. She kept saying to go to the front door as security needed to see him urgently. We both got out of bed and looked out of the window. The woman had 3-4 plain clothed men with her. Pal and I together went to the front door, hearing the doorbell being rung constantly and banging on the door. We could see through the glass, another 2-3 men standing at the back door and at least 8-10 at the front door. I quickly rang the deputy vice chancellor as he lives nearby. I then gave the phone to Pal. Upon seeing me on the phone, the immigration official ask someone to break down the door. 4 men barged into the room and grab Pal heavy handedly taking the phone from his possession. I was unable to see if they were armed. The same immigration offical produced a one page letter signed by Amelia Komaisavai stating that Pal “was a risk to the public” and we had to pack 3 days of clothes and personal effects immediately. I was instructed to get dressed and they confiscated all electronic devices including our phones, iPads, lap tops, watches and passports. I was not left alone to change or even use the washroom. Where were my moral and human rights. As a staff member of FNU, I have my own work visa. I informed them of that but they didn’t care. I still haven’t been allowed to contact my employer to inform them why I am not at work today. There were at least 15 people in our house after curfew. We threw items into a suitcase and just as we left DVC Paunga said a beautiful prayer that gave us some solace. We were ushered into a three car procession, driving over 120km/hr to Nadi. Initially they wanted us to travel in separate vehicles. Divide and conquer maybe? We were not given any details about what was to happen next. Our car blew a tyre while going at high speeds and had to change cars during the trip. Upon arriving in Nadi before 3am, Pal was informed that we were being deported to Brisbane at 1030. We were promptly ushered into a small room with no air conditioning. We had between 3-5 staff watching us for the next 7 hours. I explained to a staff member that my husband was diabetic and needs to eat breakfast and they told us that no food is available until the flight. We were offered water. Even as we were being ushered into the plane, my amazing husband thanked the people who had been supervising us, saying to them; don’t forget, whilst Jesus was on the cross, he said “Lord forgive them as they do not know any better”. Our electrical items were given back only as the plane was taxiing down the runway for takeoff. Passports once we arrived in Australia. Therefore we were unable to contact our friends, family, colleagues or children during our ordeal. We have limited clothes, limited medications and no sleep yet we have faith and are stronger together. We truly believe that good will always prevail over evil. The latest Childish Temper Tantrum by Fiji's Corrupt Megalomaniac AG Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
FBC News reports that Professor Pal Ahluwalia has been taken in by Police and Immigration officials. USP Staff Union President Elizabeth Read Fong said that the Vice Chancellor and his wife were taken in at midnight. Fong adds that the USP Council, Chancellor and Pro Chancellor have been informed and staff will await their advice on their next move. FBC News said they had contacted Police and were expecting a response soon. It is disrespectful to wear a hat within a Fijian village as it is considered an insult to a chief. But Fiji's least educated and kaisi bakola PM, Frank JV Bainimarama, a half-caste, doesn't care about Fijian tradition and culture.
Bainimarama has no shame! The corrupt and thieving dictator Frank Bainimarama also goes empty-handed to visit the victims of Tropical Cyclones, then takes credit for donated supplies made by others. This is probably why his own mother, a school teacher, had refused to enrol Frank in the same schools where see was teaching. Floodlist.com reports that at least 1 person has died, 5 are missing and over 7,000 are displaced after Tropical Cyclone Ana made landfall in Fiji early on 31 January, 2021.
Tropical Cyclone Ana struck as many parts of Fiji are still recovering after Tropical Cyclone Yasa made landfall as a category 5 system on 17 December 2020. Although TC Ana is reported to be moving away from Fiji, the Fiji Meteorological Service [FMS] warned of more strong winds and heavy rain, with a “high risk of flooding of roads, villages, towns and communities near streams, rivers and low lying areas of Fiji. FMS also reported that another tropical cyclone [TC] Bina (previously Tropical Depression TD07F), is following close behind TC Ana. |
