Naliva's partner in crime is Major Aiseri Rokoura who is with the United Nations. He is the second goon from the Queen Elizabeth Barracks who was singled out as one of the army operatives behind the brutal assault of Felix Anthony of the Trade Union Congress. The blog, Intelligentsiya, reported that Anthony was beaten over a story that appeared in the Fiji Times concerning Fiji Sugar Corporation maintenance work. Click HERE to read more. It's funny that military sources report that these two "goons" can only beat and torture unarmed and defenseless citizens. The dumber of the two is apparently Rokoura, so how he got a job with the United Nations only speaks to the UN's corruption.

Mark Edge retells Laisa Digitaki's story that you won’t see in Fiji’s well-controlled media. It is Digitaki’s story, about what happened to her on the night of Christmas Eve, 24th December, 2006. She was pregnant at the time when Frank Voreqe Bainimarama jumped up and down on her back, killing her baby!
Digitaki's story was first posted on Fiji Village in February 2007 (since taken down) and then on other blogs. It corroborates Peter Waqavonovono's story of ill treatment by Bainimarama. Murders Continue at QEB
Sources within QEB have revealed to Lt.Col Ratu Tevita Mara that the body of Police Constable Ratuvono, from Bukuya, Ba, was found at 7pm last Thursday floating in the QEB pool with deep cuts to his head and bruises on his back. The policeman was a current member of the Military Hapkido course run by Warrant Officer Class1 Tevita Korovou. Tevita Korovou and his Hapkido goons are responsible for the majority of assaults on unarmed civilians. In particular, is the bashing of Bhalu Khan and his supporters at the Delainavesi Police Post in Suva. What is interesting, sources say, is how the body was discovered floating in the pool without anyone noticing it between 1400hrs to 1900hrs during a normal work day. The source says that PC Ratuvono had witnessed “something” in QEB that he wasn't supposed to, murder is evident, but the Fiji Military is keeping quite about it. |

A FORMER Fijian government minister says he will seek political asylum in Australia after being interrogated and beaten by soldiers.
Samisoni Speight Tikoinasau, the older brother of 2000 coup leader George Speight, was arrested and beaten for distributing a DVD opposing the regime of Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
Amnesty International said Fiji's military regime, which seized power in a December 2006 coup, has been arbitrarily arresting opposition politicians and trade unionists. It said at least 10 Fijians have been targeted and subjected to severe beatings and other forms of torture in the last two weeks at the hands of the ruling military.

What is missing is Frank Baiimarama, Fiji's dictator, who had actually ordered Ligairi and his elite forces into parliament with George Speight, in May 2000, to overthrow the government and hold them hostage.
