Inoke Livanasiga (PICTURED) was given hismarching orders (click here to see article in C4.5) after he had told military officers and a corrupt Fiji Sun reporter what the majority of Fiji already knows - "the army had fucked up the country”. The MINFO cameraman had been drinking with Fiji police officers and soldiers when he apparently lost his temper with a police officer and swore at him. He then turned on other military officers who "intercepted" saying that "the army had fucked up the country”. Livanasiga then headed back to his hotel, after being asked to leave, where he started yelling and swearing at Maika Bolatiki, questioning Bolatiki's newspapers support for the illegal Bainimarama government. Bolatiki is usually trotted out to do the 'big stories' on Bainimarama and to falsely 'expose' critics and rival political leaders as 'liars'. Inoke Livanasiga's termination letter was waiting for him when he returned to Fiji. Livanasiga should not have let himself reach that level of intoxication that it got him fired. BUT, Livanasiga did what a lot of men do after they get too intoxicated - they say what they really feel. And there are a lot of others who feel the same way about Bainimarama's illegal and corrupt junta. Col Tevita Mara was also accused by a junior officer of saying "this government is fuck all". This charge caused an uproar of laughter in the courtroom when it was read out in court. Even the judge struggled to contain herself. The junior officer, Tagicakibau, was promoted to Colonel. This is why a lot of people across Fiji keep their opinions to themselves these days. They just don't know what other evil resides beside them or who the next officer "Tagicakibau" will be. Yes, this is the culture under the Bainimarama dictatorship and there are a lot of people across Fiji who feel strongly about Bainimarama's illegal, brutal and corrupt junta. They all wait for that moment when they can reveal all.
