Col Mosese Tikoitoga (nee Fisher) The RFMF submission to the Constitutional Commission is full of lies, attempting to cover-up Bainimarama's role and crimes in the evil events of Fiji since 2000. This is all thanks to Col Mosese Tikoitoga (Fisher), Commander Land Force Command, protecting his job and not the people. Points 15 to 36 of the submission dont tell the whole story and truth. It ony summarizes the events around the 200o coup and intentionally ignores key points - that Frank Voreqe Bainimarama, the illegal Commander of the RFMF:
Point 15 states that in 2000, the RFMF made all attempts to thwart the Coup and its progression. A daunting task indeed, as there were few in authority present then to help the RFMF in their efforts. Help the RFMF? Where was Frank Bainimarama? It was his job to lead the RFMF. The coward went into hiding, worried how things would turn out against him. RFMF officers had also reported that Bainimarama was not leading the RFMF during the crisis, he wasn’t visible. But he did claim the glory after it was over, suggesting that he had saved Fiji. A lie. Bainimarama was behind the coup. In early 2006 George Speight wanted to reveal everything he knew about the 2000 coup, and bainimarama objected to it. Why object, unless you have something to hide. The RFMF submission states that "A lot of party leaders and followers bolted out of the country as soon as trouble struck". But Frank Bainimarama, the coward, ensured that he was out of the country before the coup took place, but he kept in daily contact with the CRW leadership giving them orders to support the coup and then checking with his RFMF officers to find out how the army was reacting so that he bainimarama could align himself with whomever was winning. Point 34 states that as a result of the mutiny, eight lives were lost. This is true but it ignores bainimarama's role in the murders. The submission goes on to lie that "What became apparent was that the majority of the officers and men stood by the Commander". This is bloody rubbish! The officers and soldiers stood by the institution of the RFMF. They weren’t standing by the coward bainimarama. This is a key point. If you consider when bainimarama was appointed commander just the year before, over more senior and more highly intelligent officers (Ratu Epeli Ganilau, the outgoing commander RFMF, who selected bainimarama, needs to explain how this happened) the "boys in green" almost revolted! The boys in green had disagreed with bainimarama's appointment to the office of commander RFMF, because they considered him unqualified and too incompetent for the job. They were protecting the office of the commander of the RFMF. The submission then goes on to say that "all endeavors were made to retake the camp and protect the status quo of our proud institution". This is true, its the institution of the RFMF they were protecting and NOT the murdering coward frank bainimarama. Point 35. states that "Following the mutiny, General Court Martial proceedings commenced hearing cases against all thirty-eight service persons. Of the thirty-eight, of those involved including three (3) officers are now serving or have served prison sentences after being found guilty of mutiny. But the 38 service persons were all acting under Bainimarama's orders. So why wasn't binimarama charged? Point 36. Says that "One important revelation that was made during the inquiry and trials was the involvement of politicians and prominent leaders like Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, who has been tried and convicted in the civil court for inciting mutiny". However, the submission ignores Frank Bainimarama's role in the coup, which Ratu Silatolu refers to in his letter from prison, referring to the CRW soldiers as the “sacrificial lambs”, so that Bainimarama could save himself and, instead, “was being credited for restoring law and order and no-one was the wiser“. What Colonel Mosese Fisher forgets is that he is instrumental in helping to lead the once proud institution of the RFMF into supporting a treasonous, murdering, dictator who is robbing Fiji of its resources, has removed freedom of speech and the rule of law, increased corruption, increased unemployment, reduced investments and beats its citizens. Colonel Mosese Fisher is also the proud leader of Bainimarama's special unit of sodomite soldiers brutalizing citizens. Unfortuantely, because of this, the rest of the RFMF is incorrectly seen in the same light. The key problem with the RFMF is not the institution. The key problem is with the current group of stupid senior officers, and how they came to be promoted into these senior positions above other more intelligent and highly qualified officers. The whole appointment process for senior officers and commander RFMF all needs to be made transparent, with accountability and be subject to public scrutiny. Nominations cant be made based on race, chiefly title, or how good a person holds a rugby ball or how a person looks in uniform or how much a person makes idiots laugh at the officers mess. This current appointment process is the major flaw, especially when it enables thugs like frank bainimarama to be promoted and be able to instruct soldiers with guns. The role of commander RFMF needs an intelligent, moral, highly qualified, honest, courageous and mature person of great intellect......okay, well, at least the closest we can find to this target the better, but it should be a public selection process. Because of frank bainimarama, who is running from the law and robbing Fiji, the whole RFMF, sadly, is having to undergo its worst period of shame ever. The senior RFMF officers are clearly unfit of leading soldiers and unfit to wear the uniform. We will discuss the rest of the submission in a later article.
