C4.5 has posted another fantastic article by Professor Wadan Narsey -- Maligning the "old politicians".
In the article Prof Narsey highlights a key tactic of the Bainimarama dictatorship – to speak in a spitefully critical manner about the old politicians, spread lies about them and falsely accuse them for causing all the problems that Fiji is undergoing. This includes all the negative outcomes from Khaiyum’s corrupt deals, greed, stupidity, arrogance and land theft. Yes, Bainimarama and Khaiyum even blame the low investments, high unemployment, high national debt, social problems and the weakest Fiji economy ever on old politicians. And all this bullshit continues in Bainimarama and Khaiyum’s speeches, radio and TV talk shows and their fabricated reports and propaganda. But Bainimarama had started spreading these lies well before 2006, and after his 2000 coup had failed. He did this in an attempt to rally support for his evil plan to rule Fiji because this is the only way that he can avoid being arrested and being sent to prison for sedition, treason and murder. So Prof Narsey's article sets the record straight and also reminds us of what the “old politicians” did, compared to what the new politicians are doing. James Ah Koy is an old politician, as he was once a Minister of Finance in Rabuka’s Government, and now is offering himself up as a “new” politician. Ah Koy failed as a minister of Finance so it’s a bloody wonder how he was ever appointed to replace a performing Mr Vunibobo. Coupled with Ah Koy’s praising of the unelected leaders and the circumstances surrounding Ah Koy's purchase of his Knighthood one can safely conclude that Ah Koy is a perfect fit for Bainimarama and Khaiyum's corrupt plans to remain in power and "milk" as much as they can, of Fiji's wealth, for themselves.
