Fiji's dictator - J V Bainimarama - has no intention of holding any elections in Fiji until immunity provisions are included in the Constitution. The dictator is desperate for provisions that gives him and his criminal relatives and supporters immunity from prosecution.
The dictator, J V Bainimarama (commonly referred to as Vuaka (pig) on pro-democracy blog sites), faces charges for treason, murder, corruption, sedition and a list of other crimes. However, the people of Fiji have indicated, in over 7,000 submissions to the Prof Ghai Commission, that they don't want immunity given to anyone involved in past or future coups! So now the dictator Bainimarama and his megalomaniac and illegal AG Khaiyum are travelling around the country trying to buy support for their version of the constitution, which will give them the immunity they so desperately seek. To help their illegal cause they have been buying "support" in rural communities with their lies and money from Chinese government loans. The Chinese loans come with strings attached and future generations of Fiji will have to pay it off. Saving Fiji from corruption and making it a better place for all is the same set of lies that dictators across the world use to justify their existence. They use the poor and uneducated people to stir up support for their illegal and corrupt activities. But in the end their lies and corruption have all become clear to everyone. Unfortunately, this point comes after the people have had to endure hardship and poverty over many years, while the dictator and his corrupt relatives and friends get rich and fatter from stealing the countries resources and wealth. In addition, large numbers of criminals from China and Asia are being welcomed into Fiji by the dictator and his illegal AG Khaiyum. This includes Taliban terrorists who stopover in transit on their way to the middle east and other countries . Fiji has fast become a banana republic and the people of Fiji need to support the political parties, unions and individuals in their stand against the illegal regime. Stand together now to remove the dictator and his group of criminal relatives and friends who are hurting Fiji. Then, after the country has undergone free and fair elections, the people can reshape its future and decide on how they want to be governed. But this can be done under a truly free and fair environment. Where people are free to discuss issues and the media is free from persecution to report on issues and the facts. This is by no means an easy road to travel, but it will become much easier if we all join together, put our differences a side, and support each other against a common evil and return Fiji to the proud and beautiful paradise it can be.
